But you compared our players to Redser, hence my correction, that Redser did not get dropped because he had a few jars - he got dropped because he was having a few jars while he was supposed to be training.

This is why even presuming that our players were very drunk on the Sun/Mon in question - which is a big presumption - I'd still be slow to criticise. The renegade hurlers last year was a different issue. Again, to work off the assumption that the reports were true, what it meant was that players were drinking while they were supposed to be hurling.

Biff's post on the other thread summed it up. The feeling we had after those first three games this year was incredible - for that we owe them gratitude. They lost to teams that played better on the day, and who are realistically better teams, at least for now. Over the winter we'll try to bridge that gap. Good enough for me. [/b]
