Just to cheer everybody up.

Some of you may be aware of the hospital request show which is broadcast on Staurday mornings on Midlands 103. The following is a loose transcript of a recent conversation on it between the two hosts Betty and Big Ed (I say loose because I didn't actually hear it myself and I forget the name of the man they are talking about so I am just going to call him Jimmy)

Betty:"And I have just got a text here saying happy birthday to Jimmy who is 111."

Big Ed:"Wow, 111. That is a big age isn't it Betty? He must be the oldest man in Offaly. Actually, come to think of it, he must be the oldest man in the country. Are you sure it says 111 Betty."

Betty:"Hold on and I will read it again. Oh no, sorry about that, it actually says;'Happy birthday to Jimmy who is ill'"

Well I thought it was funny

On the same show about a year ago, Betty played a request for an old dear who was gravely ill in Tullamore hospital. Big Ed then dedicated the next record to said old lady, cue the music which was "Baby, you are out of time" :D
