ridiculous attitude to have.. i for one was embarrassed watching on sunday.. and the partying did not go unoticed as a remark made before the game on rte stated!
tactics, management .. ya can blame what you like

but if the players were not out drinking until the thursday after the dublin game then they might have had some hope of having some sort of fitness..

First of all one day of blowing it out of the system two weeks before the next match would not necessarily be a bad thing. Certainly very few people still feel alcohol in the system a week later, never mind two.
Secondly there are widely varying reports on this, so one suspects a little bit of purple monkey dishwasher is afoot. (Who can take four days off work to go drinking????? )
Thirdly if the squad were galvanised properly after the loss it wouldn't have been too much of a problem.
Finally we did lack a little fitness on Sunday - just like we did two weeks previously when no drinking was done. Methinks that the drink was not responsible for that. Your suggestion has holes in it I suspect.

Row in the dressing room at half time
I heard last night there was trouble in the dressing room at half time last Sunday. Apparently Alan McNamee was dropped for disiplinary reasons and Paschal went mad looking for him to be brought on for the second half. Olly Daly put a stop to it and a row incurred. Anyone got any confirmation of this?

contary to rumour there was only 1 days drinking in Dunnes in Port, not 2 -3 ive heard elsewhere... the craic was good, just the lads letting their hair down a bit....
however it has to be asked if this is an acceptable practise during the championship.... to be honest any county serious about winning wouldnt allow this kind of thing.. look at redser o grady in tipp..!!
for the sake of 2 weeks, or a chance at an all ireland quarter final, and hense a great chance at a semi final; wouldnt they have been better off holding back on the festivites......
