SBK have a nice U17 team and a very balanced U15 team. Probably wouldn’t be good enough to beat K/K but still it’s more good young players coning through for Shinrone.

I meant , coolderry suffered a similar fate today vs SBK.

Coolderry were competing in what was virtually a B championship group . Between them and Clara they recieved very little competitive games from the other group members.
Then to pair them against S/K/B in a knockout game just shows the ridiculous system.that Offaly Gaa run their minor championship. Winners playing Kk aswell.
Clara would be probably better than Coolderry and they result a couple weeks ago showed that Clara wanted to avoid the 'A' route and instead go into the 'B' , which was proven by their hammering of Birr.
In my view it just shows that the minor championship structure was just done to say we have 11/12 clubs competing in it and it looks better on paper.

No supirse there if you follow underage hurling over the last 10 years that current crop of players have had similar results the whole way through.

Birr would be much stronger u15 and are in the semi final Wednesday.
