Minors 2019
Minors 2019
Anyone at the practice game tonight - county minors vs NUIG - heard it was level at half time ... couldn’t be there myself - some going considering the age difference?

Are you sure that you weren’t told a fib?
Football or hurling?
I’d imagine that it’d be u20s playing against a freshers team, rather than minors.

We love the fake news here...they played the freshers
Re: Minors 2019
What’s fake? Freshers are first years at NUIG ... so a two - three year gap in most cases age wisegreenairfield wrote:We love the fake news here...they played the freshers

What's fake is it's not impressive
Re: Minors 2019
I agree if I was a fresher being whipped in the first half by a group of 15 and 16 year olds I wouldn’t be impressed either.greenairfield wrote:What's fake is it's not impressive

Team v Wexford. Great to see a lad from Crinkill playing. Hopefully he’ll stay with them, and hopefully they’ll go up to intermediate soon. Match is on tomorrow at 4 in OCP.

Do CRC gaels not exist at minor level?

Re: Minors 2019
They do. Crinkill and Carrig and Riverstown are the two wing backs’ clubs. Actual clubs are listed, whereas CRC is a subsection of both clubs. As far as I’m aware, there’s no such thing as minor clubs as such. Hence why Durrow is listed as opposed to Ballinamere. Last year Ferbane was listed, as was Shannonbridge, when all three players played hurling with Belmont.private joker wrote:Do CRC gaels not exist at minor level?
I’m on about at adult level.

In regards to the durrow player. Durrow is the football wing of the ballinamere/durrow club. Surely he be down as ballinamere for hurling as he's named on a hurling team?
