Re: Championship Draw 2018
The U21 hurling draw was made last night. It hasn’t been dealt with anywhere else on this site, so here it is
Preliminary round –
Cúchulainn Gaels v Seir Kieran/Drumcullen
First round –
Na Fianna v preliminary round winners
Shinrone v Coolderry
Tullamore v Shamrocks
Kilcormac-Killoughey v Clara
I presume last year’s semi-finalists, St Brendan’s, Ballinamere, Belmont and St Rynagh’s have received byes to the quarter-finals.
Preliminary and first round matches are down for midweek I the latter half of July.
Last year, Clara didn’t field even though they entered in the first place. I wonder will they have a team this year? Their entry makes 13 teams and requires an extra round and an extra weekend.

Pat Donegan. Signed out of respect for players and all involved with Offaly.
