Week 3 is in, and while tipsters of Shamrocks and Tullamore can shake their heads at how close they came to a five point play, in the end the favs went down the card in the four favourite games, while Birr covered the spread with something to spare and Lusmagh took the local clash with Belmont. Turk and Fit for Junior were the stars of the week, as they both went down the card, Fit for junior leapfrogging into outright second place for his efforts. However a solid six point week from Sparklin is good enough to hold the top spot with one more round left until the break.
