Help- Ennis or Tullamore.

Post by black and red exile »

A big problem next Sunday lads,im looking for guidence. As a dedicated fan who travels Ireland watching our hurlers and footballers im pulling my hair out in frustration in trying to decide whether to head to Ennis or Tullamore in what is going to be a very important day for our two senior teams for very different reasons, of course.
By the way it was a right oul night in Tralee on sat last despite the crappy result ''again'' and despite leading a few friends astray around the streets of tralee for 40 minutes trying to find the Brandon hotel [ at one stage a certain Lone Shark thought we were heading for Limerick we were walking that long] but luckily we all got back to our perspective digs in one piece.
One last thing lads, we will beat westmeath, make no mistake about that but i would certainly be concerned about Kildare 2 weeks later.

To be fair you were happy to turn back once we got to the outskirts of Listowel. :D

Ennis looks the better option on a "i want to see a win" basis.

Footballers need all the support they can get though. Tough decision....

I'd say hit Tullamore. Shorter distance and a must win game.
We don't have to beat the foaming and frothing Clare yahoos to make the knockouts of the hurling.

Not sure about that - I can guarantee you this - the footballers will be a much shorter price to win than the hurlers will be. (11/8 vs 9/4 in my estimation).

Send any sympathy my direction - I'm stuck in London for the weekend, missing both .....

Unfortunately beating Westmeath will be about as good as it gets this summer.

Don't be sneaking off to Ennis to avoid facing the music! Sounds like there's acceptance of relegation...

But don't worry, even in your absence, I'll be on your grassy hill as usual with my stopwatch to see how soon you score!

Hope to see you all in Tullamore on Sunday :D
