Padraig Boland voted in as Chairman
Padraig Boland has just won the vote to be county board chairman, 67 to 49.
A sincere thank you to Pat Teehan who has done a lot of work over the past five years, and best of luck to Padraig as he takes over at the helm.

Well done to Padraig Boland on his win and hard luck to Martin. Both different characters but Padraig will know he has a tough 5 years ahead and will need to be decisive, and innovative. Unfortunately, and he is a decent bloke, charateristics that Pat Teehan did not display regularly enough. Again , the best of luck to him, but is now time to move on.

Best of luck to Padraig. He seems a decent sort.
Plenty of challenges ahead, so lets hope he does well in the role.

Best of luck to Padraig in his new role. I dont know him personally but i have met him on 2 or 3 occasions through GAA matters and he has always struck me as someone with a bit of know how......Hopefully he will be decisive enough to start doing things properly in relation to the running of county teams so that we can be competitive again on the national stage in both hurling and football...

Re: Padraig Boland voted in as Chairman
Dont know Padraig personally either (he is much too young & I'm long gone) but I wish him and his Exec all the best.
A word too for Tubber man Joe Higgins. Is he the first CB officer from his club and is Padraig the first Ferbane County Chairperson ?
