Feile 2012
This is coming up soon, June 22nd and 23rd. Any of ye involved with this from a coaching perspective, or in general with underage teams. Whats the feedback on the GOGames.
I am involved and think the Go Games are the way forward and are working quite well to date, but some clubs are finding it hard to get the concept of putting out balanced teams.
Great opportunity to get out and see some top quality football, so talk to your local club and find out when and where their games are being played, and get along and support, or if you aint involved offer your assistance as clubs would be delighted with the help as there are plenty of jobs to be done in the lead up!

Re: Feile 2012
Hi there, I was hoping you good people could help me out with this.
Trying to finalise a google map for the feile, but need some help with the exact position of the grounds of following clubs, anyone able to help out with them for me?
Banagher GAA Grounds
Monasterevan GAA Grounds
Kinnegad GAA Grounds
Ballykelly GAA Grounds
Cappincur GAA Grounds
Geashill GAA Grounds
Ballinagar GAA Grounds
Mucklagh GAA Grounds
Suncroft GAA Grounds
Clonbullogue GAA Grounds
Walsh Island GAA Grounds
Mountbolus GAA Grounds
Tubber GAA Grounds
Castledermot GAA Grounds
Moate GAA Grounds
Cloghan GAA Grounds
Doon GAA Grounds
St Vincents GAA Grounds
Ballinamere Durrow GAA Grounds
Rosemount GAA Grounds
Basically, all I'd need you to do is go to www.maps.google.ie, find where you know the grounds to be, right click on that area, click "whats here", then go to the link option at the top of the page and copy and paste the link in here.
I have a few other options of getting the places mapped, but logisitics means this could be a bit difficult for me so any help I could get would be a great help to me.
Thanks folks.

Re: Feile 2012
You're going to need to elaborate on those two. St Vincents is an underage amalgamation of four clubs, so there would be four grounds there, including Capincur which you mentioned already, as well as Daingean, Kilclonfert and Ballycommon. Equally Ballinamere Durrow is a joint club, with two grounds, one in Ballinamere and one, surprisingly, in Durrow. Do you need both there too?editor wrote:Thats a good start, thanks LS. Re: Feile 2012
I'll have to get Vincents to clarify that themselves then LS.
The Ballinamere Durrow venue is Durrow, apologies for the confusion.

Unreal, a topic here to ask if anyone involved in underage coaching and no disrespect to Google maps but thats the key focus!

Re: Feile 2012
You can have the thread back, feel free to contribute a few of the missing clubs if you can though, this is all to help with the running of a national gaa event to take place in our counties, surely you wouldn't begrudge helping out a little with it if you could.Ahlethimoutwithit wrote:Unreal, a topic here to ask if anyone involved in underage coaching and no disrespect to Google maps but thats the key focus!

Re: Feile 2012
Editor, i dont know how to copy co-ordinates but the Kinnegad Ground is located in the town. If your coming from offaly side of the town, on google maps, its the last right before the Killucan road. You have to drive through an estate to get to it. If your looking on google street view you should see the actual sign post at the top of the estate. Its literally the last turn on the right before the Killucan road heading towards mullingar. Hope that helps.
The mount bolus pitch im not too sure but i knock its located off the Tullamore/Kilcormac road on the left as your heading towards Kilcormac. Im sure posters from that end of the county will help you out

I haven't a clue where Castledermot GAA is, one of the lads who'd know Kildare better would be suited to that one.
