Pull easy on the knee jerk reactions with regard to how many Coolderry players should be on the Offaly team.

Club success bears no relevance whatsoever to the inter-county scene.

Its funny then that when birr were goin well in the nineties offaly were doin well too. Its a start and some of the coolderry boys r on song at the minute. Not the first time damien murray has had a performance like that i remember a few years back he scored 13pts again kk. A great boost now if they go on and win it wont be easy

Saw a few offaly men in action yesterday in fitzgibbon down here in carlow. Nuig had david kenny at 6. hurled v well on tj reid, beating him over the 60 mins in the air and the ground i thought. reid confined to mainly frees, might have got 1 from play, but not kennys fault. looked v comfortable at 6, layed off some nice handpasses ala peter barry when he got bottled up. Carlow it had 3 offaly men in barry harding, james rigney and tom carroll. the first 2 manned the wingback spots and did well. played with their heads and hit a lot of lovely ball into the forwards. is harding in with seniors at the min? carroll got a pt from play and did well. couldnt see him in the top 6 in offaly at the min though. but its a long summer!

yes Barry Harding is in with offaly played again wexford and D.I.T. in the shield final and hurl well one for the future
i think lads have left out Brian Watkins a clubman of mind like Harding and i think Watkins could be a darkhorse for a spot in
the backline this year had good games again wexford and D.I.T. also and word is Baker has good time for him.

Just sprung to my mind their, whilst standing behind the Offaly dug-out against Clare, I noticed Joe and Kevin Brady, Brian Carrol, Cathal Parlon amongst the coolderry contingent, and Damien Murray was a absentee, anyone know if he was called up to the panel or if so has opted out himself?

St Rynaghs must have a great backline. 3 on the county panel, S Wynne, D Horan and C Hernon. Must be the darkhorses for this years championship.

I suppose you have lumped your life savings on them so.
I would be looking for big odds

Just wondering could anyone tell me how a lad gets called into the panel after the league is over, his club don't play in the club league so how can the management justify calling him in and dropping lads that have tolled all during the winter. Paudge?????? :D
