what sort of muppets are on the fixtures committe,this will be clonmores 3rd game in 13 days,pat teehan said when presenting the cup to clonmore last sunday week that clubs like clonmore were what the gaa is all about,its about time the county board started showing it,county final moved out of oconnor park to suit the bigger game,then league semi last sat,now the final on friday do these lads not deserve a bit of a break?

Bit of an over exageration Harps man. Clonmore have played 3 games in 3 weeks and in fairness any team in their position should be mad for football. When ye're on a winning streak like Clonmore are they should be wishing away the days to the next match

I dont think its an over exageration,its 3 games in 13 days not 3 weeks,yes any team that is winning love to keep playing but this is just to much to ask of any team,clonmore now have a wait of over 3 weeks to play in leinster,where is the logic in that?I taught that when clonmore were goin through to leinster repersenting offaly that they would maybe get a little help and encouragement from the county board but it doesnt seem that way,would any of the bigger clubs be treated this way? i dont think so.clonmore lost tonight by a pt and i belive playing so much aided to this loss,very frustrating.....

Just as well you are not from a dual club like Rynaghs where some players will have to hurl an intermediate final some 20 hours after fiishing an intermediate football semi.
Cop on to youreself. there is nothing wrong in asking teams to play over three consecutive wekends

Joe Bloggs is right. Playing matches is far better any training session. Great game on Friday night. Two committed teams that threw the kitchen sink at it. Pity Daingean didn't show the same spirit when they played Clonmore in the junior A semi final.
