Defs wish he was still around.
Suspect he is not even lurking as he certainly would have had to weigh in by now.

Re: Vote to get Offalys Future back posting here
I was actually going to start a post about the good old days recently. Those were the days when we two of our more enjoyable contributors were busy on this board.
Lone Shark: You need to get back in the saddle. It's way to quiet around here without:
- Your straight-talking predictions, some of which have been stuck to dressing room doors
- Your absence from the Tipster competition (though, fair-play to the lads keeping it going)
- The odd swipe at Fianna Fail
- Some good honest debating
Offaly's Future: If you're out there, lost in the waste-lands of despair, kind of like your man in the Book of Eli (a parallel between the near-end of the world and where Offaly are right now), hear this. I didn't always agree with how you made an argument, but you certainly had a point to make. You raked up a good few lads, but mostly I think it was just passion spilling over. Anyway, get back on-board, on the board - now!

Early exit polls indicate the vote will go to the Yes side.
Its too early to tell.
A lot of people expected to vote around tea time!

I spotted the following quote on KilkennyCats.com

"Offaly's hurling is exact and abrasive: full of assurance on the ball, devoid of fumbling and slicing and sod-busting". Kevin Cashman RIP (September 1994).

Where did this legend ever go to lads?
He was one bitter but passionate GAA man?
