as i was in town last saturday night watching the match in a well known GAA pub in tullamore.. i could hear the conversation taking place behind me and as the drink started to flow opinions began to be voiced.. the main topic was that of tullamore doing the double next year.. i laughed this off at first but the more the gentlemen talked the more it seemed a distinct possibility,, i overheard there is a physchologist onboard this year as the think get the head right and then the feet and wrists will follow.. i sincerely doubt it though as it was siad"the sandpiper can not be on two beaches at once"... SURELY NOT..

They've a better chance at the hurling than the football... It's hard to look beyond Clara or Rhode

They wont win the hurling. They have a good chance in the football. If Clara can win it then any team on their day can.

Teams going well so far and to watch would be: Rhode (obviously favourites), Tullamore, Edenderry, and Clara will be there again but they need alot of luck to get over Rhode again. They were steeped last year. Easy path to final and a below par Rhode final performance.

Teams to struggle this year: Tubber, Shamrocks.

In the hurlin it should be between Birr and Coolderry. Clareen and KK are alright and will be there abouts.

Teams to struggle: Brosna Gaels, Lusmagh.

Rhode obviously favourites, Clara not flying yet but they have the forwards come championship. Not sure about Tullamore, they always seem to be there or there abouts after a slow start. i hear training is going well for them though? Its hard to think Edenderry would be in contention after 2 years of relegation playoff's but you would never know. I don't think Tubber will strugle, Walsh Island could be a surprise package. Four teams have to end up in relegation playoff's, any idea who they will be?
