Next Sunday our much criticized footballers travel to either the Hyde or Kiltoom to take on a rejuvinated Roscommon in the first round of a very tough league campaign. Fergal O'Donnell has put some pride back in the yellow and blue and despite losing to Galway in the FBD final yesterday they will go into next Sunday's clash on a high and will look forward to getting a crack at us in front of a very big home vocal support. So this is just a call from an ordinary supporter to his fellow Offaly men and women to put on the famous tri-colour,make the short journey to ROS and get behind the lads from the word go because they are certainly going to need it.

From speaking with a couple of roscommon lads at work, the match will more than likely be in kiltoom. Will be heading down to cheer on the lads and I agree with black and red exile for as many people as possible to head down as we will need all the support we can get..
