St Michaels Dominance comes to an end at u-21

Post by bazza »

Tullamore beat them today by 4 points.. Playin Clara now in the final next week. Should be a good final. Tullamore had good performances from Brazil, O'Neill, Egan, Moloney, the 2 Geraghtys and Marsden looks to be fulfilling his potential now also. Sullivan and Darby were particulary disapointing for Rhode. IMHO i think all the hype that young lad gets is a bit over the top.. anyway bad week in general for Rhode compared to the week the town club have had after winnin the minor last week.. Future is looking blue i'm afraid to say.

Yes Tullamore were the better team on the day but Clara wil not be as easy where Tullamore were domenent in the midle of the field and the Rhode top players of Darby Sullivan and Casey to a lesser extent did not perform or were not let to peform i know that Casey got most of the scores but not in the second half as i think that younbg Mann did a good job on him when switched
The minors of Brazil Maloney and the two Geraghtys made a big difference
Clara can not be taken easy as they are a good team and will take some beating and i am looking forward to a good final althow it should be over by now as condetions dictata that now is not the time to be playing football or hurling at this time of year i just hope that the final is as good as todays semi-final football wise as football is not dead yeat looking at today long live football

great win for our under 21s more than deserved the victory .there is serious talent coming through the club and between ourselves and rhode i can see boyh clubs having a two way battle for most underage and senior football titles unless the other clubs get their act together .come on the town .
great history hoping for a better future
