Jun B football

Post by Darth Faithful »

Just spotted that there are 3 groups in the Jun B football. One group has 4 teams and the 2 other groups have 5 teams. How will this be run off then? Does anyone know?

Same with the Jun A, 3 groups, but I believe 2 teams go to semis, so how is it decided which team that tops its groups doesn't go straight to a semi?

The 3 Top Teams go into a hat, and 2 get drawn out for byes to the semi finals, namely Clonmore Harps & Erin Rovers.
The remaining 4 teams are drawn in quarter finals, with the provision that you couldn't draw a team you had in your group.
So the QF pairings are Ballycommon V Durrow, and Daingean V Raheen.

I am sure the same applies in the A Grade.

P.S. Don't know who the winners of the quarter finals play, I think they draw them again.
