Lost 1-14 to 2-10.
I'm still not over it - I haven't taken a defeat this badly in ages.

Was at the game in Thurles and Croke Park yesterday both teams gave great displays but the refs in both games were nothing short of a disgrace, whatever about doing Senior players but to do it to a Minor is brutal the ref should have drawn it.

A bit of pride retored after in Offaly football after the shambles that was Saturday evening. A draw would have probably been a fair result but the ref def played too little injury time. Gutting for the players but they still have the qualifiers to look forward to so hopefully they can make an impact there.

Rarely have i felt the paralysis i endured when the referee blew the full time whistle yesterday. Im still numb and the defening silence that greeted Meaths victory spoke volumes on the performance our young men had given and the dignified way they conducted themselves on the pitch.
I am not too blind to see that there was some dificiencys in our performance that needed tweeking, however, that analysis is for another time and these lads must now regroup, bind and resolve to prove that the performance was no fluke by beating Kerry the next day.
Why not!!

If Keith Lawlor scored when he had an open goal at his mercy it was was game over he was unlucky also thought we conceded a soft goal.
