Ferbane could be left staring a relegation battle in the face as Shannonbridge completely outplayed them in Doon yesterday evening and in all honesty, there could have bee 10 or 12 points in the difference in the end had it not been for some wayward shooting in the first half when the bridge kicked 9 wides to Ferbane's 2.
it was all one way traffic in the second half too, as man of the match John Ryan lorded it in the middle of the field.
Two goal of the year contenders from the majestic Jason Kelly and Kieran Flannery in the space of 3 minutes ended the game as a contest.
For the bridge anything can happen now, Tullamore could be there for the taking, and they will take great confidence after this victory.
Were any of ye down in Doon yesterday? what did ye think?

Re: Shannonbridge 2-08 Ferbane 0-8
was it not 2-9 to 0-9
savage performance by the bridge totally out classed ferbane all over the field, should hav won by more. all the younger players are really startin to show there ability now and any team is gonna hav trouble in handling the likes of jason kelly, john ryan, kieran flannery and david corbette. if the bridge can build on this they wont be far off beatin rhode or tullamore.
any one hav reports on the other matches.. fair play to erin rovers and tubber great to see all the weaker teams causin upsets at the weekend, i think it throws championship wide open from wat i heard rhode didnt seem to impress against a weakened tullamore side, rynaghs and ferbane seem to be in trouble and need to improve big time or else it relegation for 1 of them.
