You're gonna have to share some of that humble pie with me :D

Congrats to Tullamore, who showed great character to come back. Just like the semi-final, a goal and a point within a minute turned this game on it's head.

Tullamore are fully worthy of their win - they've shown that they know how to win tight games, having done so almost all year.

As for Shamrocks - I still think they were good enough to win it. For a while they seemed to be coasting. However, when serious questions are asked of them, they rarely deliver. Are they the Mayo of Offaly football?

I agree with that statement by magpie. Maybe they are the Mayo of Offaly club football. Im not shocked by the result because even though i did think and still think they are a better team than Tullamore we've seen them let it slip too many times. This probably ranks as their biggest mess up ever.

Half time couldnt come soon enough for the blues and maybe the shamrocks wish it never came. There seemed to be a completely different class between them at that stage. Goals win the big games. O'Grady woz the only threat as Dooley had a poor game and the other forwards never got involved at all. Its a bad sign that a team with 1 forward wins a championship and he is no McNamee.
