Tickets for Dub V Offaly

Post by Doon Massive »

Howdy,

Do we think that this will be a sell out?
Should I start trampling over grannies to get a ticket, or better still whip one out of someones hand at croker?

I presume its all ticket.

Peace out.

They were on sale on ticketmaster this morning.. Might be still there.

I didn't buy there though, because hopefully Kathleen Foley will have one for me in Ferbane.....

Hopefully the Dubs won't bother with this one!
Ever since the good run in 2002 and the completion of the new Croke Park, the Dubs have brought added an extra 10-15,000 onto their minimum Croke Park fanbase. Whereas this kind of fixture used to get 40 something thousand, now it would be in the 50-60 range.

Offaly won't bring a huge crowd and a lot of Dublin fans would expect to win this one and mightn't go one week after the Meath game. I'd say 60,000 in total.

Does anybody know if the tickets are going on sale in Tullamore this week, and if so, what dates and times? Any information regarding this subject would be very much appreciated. UP THE FAITHFUL!!!

Just got 4 family tickets from Leinster Council Office.
Canal End Upper Deck row C.

The only time I was ever on the canal end was the '98 Hurling Final when it was a terrace.

Anyone been in the new stand, is the view ok ?

If you're fairly central the view is actually not that bad at all. It feels weird watching a game from one end while sitting down, but row C is where you want to be. Incidentally if you don't like it, they alwasy set aside a few seats for people who suffer from "vertigo" and what have you. Say to the stewards that one of the kids doesn't like the height and they'll move you down. I'd say they'll love it myself.

Get your tickets folks. There was a great roar when Offaly came onto the field in the Final last year and no doubt gave the lads a lift. More of the same would be great.

"Minor" match ?

Post by The Biff »

Tickets sorted !

Anyone know if there is a match on in Croker before the big one? There usually is something to try to encourage some of the Dubs to get in a little bit early and avoid a rush at 2 minutes to throw-in.
