Re: Offaly Hurling Championships 2014

Micheal also has kept the program from each match he has gone to,I would say there is no other collection anywhere out there like it.He is an honorary member of Club Faithful a club he is proud to be part of.He now has a friend from Walsh Island sorry cant think of his name now that is with him at a ...

Re: Offaly Minor Football 2014
This will be short and maybe not so sweet, did we get carried away with ourself.I may get slated for this but we beat Kilkenny in the first round then a bad Westmeath team next but having said that I saw that match and we played a good brand of football that night but how bad was Westmeath.I now hear ...

Re: CB wouldn't have thought of this
I am not sure about what Rosscomman are doing, the letter sounds like the are defending themselves so not everyone is happy. If its such a good idea would other counties not be doing it.Now I know nothing about the cost of leasing a bus or should I say buses because I am sure one bus would not be ...

Re: Offaly vs Limerick
Agreed with a lot said already. Limerick didn't play well but thats not our problem I cant imagine Limericks forum is saying good things about them.Kevin Connolly did play well as a spare man in the back but lets not forget he was the spare man and had no one marking him but as the Limerick spare ...

Re: Junior A football final . Tullamore vs Birr.
People keep saying about Birr unlucky in 2010 in the Intermediate Championship but they must have been relegated since then and that's not a good sign. Some of my fellow Tullamore men are giving out with the bookies why i have celebrating the last 2 weeks on the bookies money.i am not a big gambler ...

Re: senior football final Rhode vs Tullamore 15.30 sunday 13
I put up a post before the final and said Tullamore needed everything to go well and Rhode to have an off day. Now looking back you could say that what has happened. I mentioned Tullamore just might hold Neil Mc Namee even if i did think Tullamore would give Mickey Brazil the job, just goes to show ...

Re: Offaly Senior Hurling Championship 2013
I was at the Tullamore v Brosna Gaels match last night 3-15 to 1-10. Not a great match of hurling,Brosna are missing a few players from last year and are struggling without them.Tullamore also missing a few players, some of their young players in America for the summer, they always seemed to be in ...

Re: Offaly v Waterford, SH qualifier, 22nd June 2013
Two Senior Football Championship games fixed by the Offaly Co Board were cancelled at short-notice. The games involved St Brigids v Ballycumber and Clara v St Rynaghs. I do not know the reasons why they were cancelled, but I suspect it was due to the Offaly v Waterford Qualifier. Clara and St ...

Re: Offaly v Waterford, SH qualifier, 22nd June 2013
Yes Waterford is a tough draw but vital its a home venue which gives us a great chance. If we can pull off a win it will be two good competitive games and dont think we should fear anyone after that.

Now i have waited a few days to put my bit in the debate about the match.lads a lot of us are giving out about the ref,is this the same ref that should have sent of Cathal Parlon off, the first yellow card could have been a red and then when he was on a card he pulled dangerous and got away with it ...

Well here is my bit after today's game i taught we played some of our best football today, Niall's goal just before halftime was very important we had played into a strong wind and went in ahead at halftime,Tipps heads were down going in couldn't see us not winning at that stage. We played well in ...
