Should be right good day alright but off the point a small bit, the relegation playoff final, disappointing to see 2 teams from themore traditional football areas fighting for their senior status but thats the way it is. Any thoughts on who will stay up? Brosna have been unlucky this year and with a ...

Anyone at the games at the wkend, any reports as couldn't make either game. Who is looking the strongest?

Offaly have always got a raw deal in the All-Stars, 3 obvious occasions are 1981, Pat Delaney, Hurler of the Year but not worthy of an All-Star, make that one out. 1994 Brian Whealan, again Hurler of the Year but again not worthy of an All-Star. 1997 Vinny Claffey, had great championship but gave it ...

@Lone Shark. It's not that your missing anything, yes they are the same team as past years but this year they have got the few results and they have the momentum, has far as this year has gone they are a bit ahead of Cloghan but in sayin that the hurling is over for the Cloghan boys, so they will be ...

Johnny Pilkington goal against Wexford in 1997 Leinster final, solo run from half way and buried it from 21 yards out, all while the very quick Paul Codd (I THINK) was chasing him. Niall Mac's point against Dublin in 2007 Leinster Championship, straight after the restart, not 20 seconds gone, pure ...

I'm not tryin to disrespect anyone here either by sayin they had goalkeeping issue, I just remember seeing Niall play outfield. And you are right on your judgement of John Joe Leary, he was a very good keeper for Doon and I'm sure is sorely missed, he is not too old either, would put him in same ...

Being fair to Doon, James Coughlan played very little football this year due to injury and that was huge. I know it's not a good statement about any team, but he is responsible for 60% of their scores on average. I remember being at a league game at the start of the year where Shannonbridge beat ...

Can anybody tell me what has happened to Doon? They came down to Intermediate and got to two County Finals, losing only to two Senior teams and then have slipped away so much, they have a good young team, oldest players would be the two Ryans and they are hardly passengers, especially at ...
