Firstly everyone involved with hurling would like to see some games in St Brendan's Park and considering we are back in Division 2 next year, capacity shouldn't be a problem.

The first round of football championship fixtures are the week after the Meath game. Clara and Shamrocks are first up on the Thursday. Not much of a turnaround there for the the intercounty lads. Ferbane and Tullamore is on the Monday night (June 1st)
