Easy win wicklow are no good we can rest a few players for the final cormac and hyland looked to be hindered the last day. Will be making arrangements for final now

Respect for opposition should be a key element of all sports. Wicklow are a proud county and, while Offaly are deserved favourites ...

Looks like all sold out on Ticketmaster.

Surely in the best interests of Offaly football the honourable thing for the management team to do would be to step down. The situation looks to be beyond retrieval and it's very unlikely that it will improve if management stay in place. In fact, it could get even worse.

A few years ago, Paul ...

Westmeath beat Kerry 3-26 to 2-10. Offaly had a bye in the last round so only played two games, beating Carlow by a big margin and losing to a good Westmeath team yesterday. It looks like we go into a Tier 2 competition now.

Interesting that our best two performers yesterday were from the east of ...

Hopefully at some time in the near future there will be a thread entitled "Which game/victory was the real beginning of the second golden age of Offaly hurling"!

A total of twenty seven Offaly players took part in one or both of the All Ireland Under 20 hurling finals in 2023 and 2024. Twenty three of these are currently involved with the Offaly senior panel. One other would more than likely be involved but has opted to represent his county in Gaelic ...

Quarter final v Mayo confirmed for Sunday June 8th at The Hyde. Throw-in 2pm.

Same team selected as the last day. This is crazy. There are a lot of guys on that team who need to be rested so that they are refreshed and in prime condition ahead of the Antrim game. It is pointless putting in a big effort against Wexford and wearing ourselves out in the process. Because even if ...

There is something very special about this team. They have shown great resilience and composure over the last two games. It looked like they were gone at half time having conceded 1-7 without reply and with Kildare totally dominant for most of the second quarter.
But they reset brilliantly at the ...

Galway are a team with ambition of winning an all ireland. Offaly are trying to stay in the liam mcarthy. Its a huge step up.

That about sums it up.

It's very hard for a team at Offaly's stage of development to put in two big back-to-back performances, especially with only a week in between ...

Hopefully the Kings will rule midfield!

Colin Spain, with his workrate and energy, could make a big impact off the bench.

Today's game showed the disproportionate effect the 2 point rule is having. Why are 8 successful long range kicks worth more than 15 attacks where, for example, the ball is worked 'through the lines' resulting in a team score or a long kicked pass is sent in to a corner forward who turns and scores ...
