As the championship has progressed, and after viewing an awful lot of the games, let's just say , i'm damn glad i'm not selecting for the county panel!
My hands down player of the year so far has been James Grennan. His high fielding is lovely to watch!

Re: Offaly SFC Semi-Final Draw
Either will shamrocks.
Wasn't very impressed with them last night, and don't think rhode will be shaking in their boots any time soon. I think the final score greatly flatters shamrocks, and more reflects a tubber side who litterally fell apart before the eyes, as opposed to a great shamrocks ...

Re: Club match odds this week
Howdy Folks,
Does anyone know if there are any odds up yet for the 2 SFC 1/4 finals this weekend - found a tenner in my arse pocket and wanna lose it before the other half gets hold of it :D
Odds on paddypower.com are Erin Rovers v Ferbane.. Erin rovers win 21/10 , Ferbane win 4/9 , Draw 15/2 ...

Re: Club V County
For me it would definitely be club for the county or leinster :) as opposed to offaly winnin the leinster..
Don't get me wrong, i love county football, but when it comes to club, it's more close to home (obviously!) but you're more likely to know the lads personally, be involved, or know their ...

Re: Football Draw
For a change its a nice time to be a ferbane supporter.. The flags are flying in the town, and there is a good buzz about the place. The seniors are through to the quarter finals, the juniors are through topping their group on the way, the junior c's are on a winning way,and the hurlers are doing ...

Points difference rule??
Hey,
I'm just wondering does anyone know what the story is with points difference coming into play? I always thought, and looking back through the feeds there, it seemed some others did too, that if 2 teams were level on points after all games were played, that then the points difference of the ...

And i think this is possible, as long as edenderry don't drop the heads that is, because from looking at both games there really wasn't much in it either way.

Re: Senior Football Championship 2009 - Opening matches
The absence of Gearóid O'Grady from the Tullamore forward line (I heard that he's not playing at all this year - is that true?) combined with Shane Dooley also being absent meant that the Tullamore attack was very toothless.

Sunday 26th of july
Ferbane v Tubber =
I was very impressed with the ferbane team ( though am biased!) . Thought all the lads played well. Great to see ciaran kenny playing great again, colin egan played a fantastic game as a break winner, and colm gavin did his job well keeping the county man ...
