Edenderry won Junior hurling in 1962 and then Intermediate in 1963.

The emergence of Brian Duignan as a footballer has been incredible this year.
Was always a big athletic lad that could kick ball to a decent enough club level.

But he now looks County level standard. Im sure Solan might be trying to lure him over to the big ball. But I'd say it would be a minor ...

2pt win for Durrow.
Brian Duignan is one serious baller, would be an automatic starter for Offaly footballers if he wanted.
Ciaran Burke was outstanding also.
No questioning the Durrow mens commitment tonight, fully deserved win.
Cake was animated to the max tonight on the sideline. Great hours ...

That’s not a bad appointment at all!

His record with Longford over the 2 years was a 35% win rate.

P 23
W 8
D 2
L 13

For comparison Mickey Harte had a 48% win rate over his 2 years.

P 29
W 14
D 0
L 15

Crude figures yes but still worth a look.
Oddly he got Longford out of D4 this year but ...

Yer man from Boyzone?

Stephen Wallace anyone?
We got glimpses of 'sexy football" in 2018 and I believe as a county we are ready for it again.

I do think we are the best inter county job coming available this Summer and to be very fair there is nobody that Tom Parlon and Michael Duignan between them couldn’t get to have a conversation with us even if it was to say a polite no… so I do think the onus is on us to ask the right people cause ...

What are the "youngsters" on town saying?

Edenderry beat Kilcormac 5-17 to 3-11 in first round of minor hurling championship last night.

G'wan the town!
Yeah it was K/K's 2nd team alright but still a decent result for Edenderry.
I had the privilege of seeing Joe Furey in action recently and my God this fella is something else.
I could ...

15 games to eliminate 2 teams. Not really “championship” is it?

100%

James Mahon, Ruairi Kelly and Ciaran Cleary started in their place.

Did the big man do any damage?

That's disappointing Hans.....I was expecting a match report from you on the New York v Fermanagh game

Any white smoke from the CCCCCCCCCCC on the 1/4 final venue/venues or do they require another week to think about it?

we win our 2 games and we go in to preliminary all Ireland quarter final against one of the Joe McDonagh teams. A win there would set up us then for an Ireland final on the back of a 3 game winning streak.

Far better I think than a potential heavy ish defeat to galway in Leinster final.

Come ...
