Re: Munster U21 Final

Meant to put this in my earlier post.

How did the referee not see the puckout himself??

According to the reports his umpire drew attention to the extra step. How did the referee miss it himself when he surely had to be watching it and if he did see it and let it go why did he allow some idiot ...

Re: Munster U21 Final

I wouldnt condone violence but in all fairness what was the ref at ???????

Why is it that its ALWAYS the big guns, the likes of Cork, Tipp, Kilkenny (kerry or dublin in football) teams that get the breaks like that while the Offalys and clares of this world have to put up with crap decisions. That ...

Re: u21 result

i agree with you both. These lads have given us reason to be hopeful for the future and fair play to them. I cant understand how young lads like that can be so drained though. Surely there was some way of motivating them for this.

gutless'08, Im afraid i have to agree with your comments re change ...

u21 result

Very disappointing night in Tullamore tonight. Nothing seemed to go right for anyone (except for an excellent kilkenny team)

Fair play to the cats, they were at another level tonight, especially TJ Reid and Hogan. Our big guns never got going. Too many balls dropped, too many lads getting in each ...

Re: Michael Haverty

i agree to a certain extent but the thing with the sliotars is going on for years now. i think the sending off got Cork fired up but it wasnt hard to beat a one man team the Galway lads hadn't the heart to play for Loughnane.

Good point. It seems an awful waste that a team with resources that ...

Re: Michael Haverty

Barry Kelly did his reputation a lot of harm he was out to get Donal Og probably for the part he played in the strike, he didnt see the incident of Sean Og giving one of the Galway players the handle of the hurl in the face and he standing right in front of them, he missed numerous frees on both ...

Re: Offaly - Waterford. Another display to be proud of

I agree a great performance, to come back and lead after such a poor start suggests a great determination and spirit in these young lads.

Not that i think it was the difference between winning and losing but it has to be said the referee was nothing short of a disgrace. How he gave a foul against ...

Re: Offaly's best days - Ones when the supporters didn't show up

sorry lads, first time poster

Great result Saturday night. Fair play to all involved, huge effort put in. I was there myself thank god and was mighty glad i went. Couldnt really see the hammering that everyone predicted for us and thought we had a great shout. I didnt think the kilkenny match was ...
