Re: u21 result
Offaly played well in the first half. But as another post said they were losing ball in the forwards alot. Offaly just were not cute enough to be able to switch balls across the pitch like Kilkenny did. And lets be honest here the lads that were on the senior team did not play well and I think ...

Re: OFFALY V KILKENNY.
Forget the Christy Ring Cup for starters. This team is still very young and need the experience of playing the so called big guns. And in all fairness the u21's got to the leinster final last year and dont forget they beat the Glorious Cats in the semis in nowlan park! All is not lost it is just a ...

Re: OFFALY V KILKENNY.
Had to watch the game on tv because of work but my god Offaly really stuck into them in the first half. The second half was awful. Where were all the scoring forwards? The back line played out of their skins but we just couldn't get it going up front. The only positive from the game was the defence ...

Re: OFFALY V KILKENNY.
From the Kilkenny website:
Kilkenny manager Brian Cody will be short a number of key players because of injury for Sunday’s opening Leinster SHC defence against Offaly at O’Moore Park.
Full back Noel Hickey and attacker Richie Power are struggling to make it and, with Henry Shefflin, James Ryall ...

Re: OFFALY V KILKENNY.
I think your right there offalys future. There is a massive divide between u21 and senior. We need some players on the team with experience. Have to say maybe we haven't a hope in hell but at the same time there is hope and hopefully offaly will win because if they do it would be some boost to the ...

Re: Full Time Score 2-11 to 1-8
In all fairness DD I dont think you can single out one player like mcmanus that is unfair. Yeah maybe he made a mistake but was there nobody behind him to defend? I taught the Full-Back line was totally out of it. Totally off the pace and rarely out in front. I think the sending off was a big ...

Re: Full Time Score 2-11 to 1-8
Was listening to the radio on the way to work and the performance was very bad. Poor shooting and the sending off was very harsh. They would want to up their game a fair bit and stop relying on Niall mac.
Hopefully they can do well in the qualifiers! Come on lads pick it up now! Come on the faithful!
