Not really. His successes external with clubs were in part time roles as he was still playing. Anyone in lorrha would tell you as much.

Brian Carroll unfortunately is egotistical to the extreme and when dealing with young lads thats not a good mix. As previous posters have said players have little good to say about him. It's a pity we don't encourage a coach pathway from Development squad level ...

I would have thought this team would have been capable of more. There are a lot of decent hurlers there, probably not capable of replicating previous teams’ successes, but they were capable of at least getting into tier 1.

Whilst the talent might not be immense I still felt this group had more in them. By all accounts our Manager is more focused on his own ego at times than his players and a change would be a good move I think

What other county would reappoint a manager who oversaw a 31 point underage championship defeat to Laois?
