Re: Offaly Senior Footballers 2025
It looks like there's no changing your minds of whats in front of yer eyes you mean
Oh don't worry, the truth always comes out in the end anyways.
By the way, Offaly did play and lose to Galway on Saturday. I've a lot more info on that camp than you seem to think.

Re: Offaly Senior Footballers 2025
You can doubt it all you want, it has came from the horse's mouth (Players), that Deck has gone against S&C advice.
And also is true that he has had rows with Chris Combs the physio. So how isn't it true that it's down to one man.
Past u20 players, Past and current senior inter-county ...

Re: Offaly Senior Footballers 2025
And do you think Paddy D wouldn't have had to do any running at Offaly training ? This isnt 20 years ago. Paddy would be doing most of the runs too. Especially because the new rules at the start of last year encouraged the Goalkeeper to come up the field as a plus 1 before being changed after a few ...

Re: Offaly Senior Footballers 2025
Some waffle been talked there ....Kelly's "got away with it" because he won an all Ireland only a few years ago just a few years ago with most of these players ...he then blooded most of them bravely and dropped a lot of senior pros in his first year and took a lot of stick for it ...last year ...

Re: Offaly Senior Footballers 2025
Well it is FACT that Declan Kelly goes against advice of S&C coaches. I've received info from players themselves that they are dogged unnecessarily.

Re: Offaly Senior Footballers 2025
The division two league is fast becoming a massive ask for our management and players. I feel for DK and MH and id say they will be given some allowance by the county board because offaly missing 5 or 6 starters is a huge dint

Re: Club Managers 2024
I believe Nigel Dunne is set tobecome the new Shamrocks manager. Very 50/50 on how that'll go. But a very strong team in Shamrocks at the minute.
Any word on potential Ballycommon, Ferbane & Edenderry replacements?

Re: Club football 2025
I'd have to disagree with you there Kevin. However, I do agree with you it needs to be tightened up, the transfer system that is.

Re: Club football 2025
Huge achievement for Cathal and well deserved.
First one I think too from a losing finalist.
All that being said. Very hard to believe John Furlong hasn't won the award yet, despite probably being the most consistently best player in Offaly football the last 3 years.

Re: Club football 2025
I actually agree with Parkinson's idea that a player should have to play 3 seasons with a club before they're allowed to play in Provincial campaign. Because atleast then the player is obviouslty commited to the club and has served his time. This shouldn't be just for Dublin. This should be for all ...
