Re: Club Managers 2024
I think both of these accounts (above) are the same person to be honest. A lad from Ferbane, having looked back at previous messages you put in. I'd have a theory who, but I won't say.
I'm no longer going to comment as this is off topic and not for this thread. Goodbye Ferbane man.
It would be ...

Re: Club Managers 2024
Where are you getting this info. Laughable.
Joe Maher didn’t want to play under Rafferty under the best of my knowledge. But a county standard forward.
Ronan Mcguire was an Offaly u20 and always played senior football every year & was on the 2019 team that beat Rhode in the county final. ….and ...

Re: Club Managers 2024
Would George Digan include Colin Kenny in his package? If so, I'd fancy Ferbane next year to win the Dowling.
I hear Joe Maher and Ronan Maguire are going back now that rafferty is gone. Plus I'd imagine David Dunican the goalie and the Corcoran chap would aslo return because George would have ...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2026
Imagine for a moment you're an intercounty hurler with Offaly. It's been your ambition to play senior for the county since you were hurling U-10 or maybe even earlier, you've spent your youth on club pitches and in the Faithful Fields with developments squads, and as a kid you were aware of Offaly ...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2026
Is the word on the street true??
Did anyone hear if Ciaran Burke is captain of the Offaly senior hurling team this year the kilcormac boys are opting out to playing for Offaly??
Seems some lads are not happy with his ongoing antics in the club championship…..

Re: Club Managers 2024
Has anyone heard an update on current vacancies??
The few clubs mentions above?
Ferbane would be nice one for someone to get.
You'd have to think its the most attractive of them all. Followed by Edenderry and Ballycommon.
Durrow would have to be the least attractive given last years history ...

Re: Club Managers 2024
This is a thread about club managers and Ballinamere got a new one so obviously it’s going to be mentioned here. Not sure why it has angered some here but if ye want a thread to give out about Ballinamere make one and
do it there. I too am fed up of the talk about how great or how not great they ...

Re: Club Managers 2024
Interesting appointment for them but they have a big gap to make up in my opinion after this year to contend next year. They have a bit of talent but have they the steel needed to win a senior championship? Not from what I have seen to date anyway and this new management wont see too many of them ...

Re: U 20 football championship 2025
To be fair, this is always a famously difficult competition to fix. The amount of crossover with other competitions is bananas, and you have a mix of clubs/combinations that will struggle to cobble together a team on the day, with other panels that are strong, deep and itching for action. If you ...

Re: Club football 2025
Link to all scorers for this years championship. Used for my All Things Offaly Instagram page. 98 scorers across all games. Interestingly none of the Top 5 were Offaly panellists by end of championship. CF left and Nigel retired. Johnson, and Plunkett could be on board next year and you never know ...

Re: Club football 2025
Marius Stones is down for senior final
A Clara referee. What Senior matches has he refereed.?
You must be hugely invested in the senior football championship. I hope this is a joke. Regardless of where he is from he is absolutely deserving of the job. A very good ref and extremely fair. He ...

Re: Club football 2025
I appreciate that this is going away from the weekend’s football but feel the need to comment on the new championship structure. I think the CCCC should be commended for seeing that there is a current problem with the senior championship and trying to rectify it.
Sometimes I think people forget ...

Re: Club football 2025
Cillian Burke very lucky not to see red in 2nd semi final. Incident happened very close to terrace side sideline but no surprise that it wasn't spotted by linesman.
Yep, straight red all day long.
Whatever about the ref not seeing it, the linesman was about two feet away…
Yes terrible ...

Re: Club football 2025
I know this is a 2025 football tread but very interesting proposals released for the football next year seems like county board have looked at something similar to the Westmeath structure which seems to work quite well over there.
