Re: Offaly Senior Footballers 2025

Cillian Bourke is a huge loss but we can’t begrudge him the chance of professional sport. I wish him absolutely all the best as he represents the Faithful Down Under.

We are all Essendon fans now 🔴⚫️

Offaly Hurling 2026

Provisional Fixture List is out.

3 home, 3 away. Any kind of win would be massive but hopefully it brings us on for Leinster.

Re: Offaly Senior Footballers 2025

Think this a genuinely good fixture list. 4 at home. 3 away. We wouldn’t expect to beat Tyrone or Derry and those games being away is totally fine. Kildare are familiar to us with 2/3 wins last year.

The home games are crucial. Yes Louth are Leinster winners but Harte knows them well. Meath are ...

Re: Offaly Senior Footballers 2025

Nothing official confirmed yet, but going off provisional fixture announcements, we have ;

Meath at Home
Kildare in Newbridge
Cork at Home
Cavan at Home

No word yet on Tyrone, Derry or Louth. There will definitely be one long away day to TYR or DER.

Those home fixtures, and Kildare don’t seem ...

Re: 2026 Leinster hurling championship

Handy one to save. Also, what’s with it being announced so early before the league has even been announced.

Re: U 20 football championship 2025

Can I ask what is the format? Is there a document explaining it because it’s very hard to follow.

Re: Club football 2025

Yeah unfortunately I didnt do from play this year. I’ll aim to do it next year. Just was a genuinely time consuming process so that’s all I have for now.

Re: Club football 2025

Good points made on the average scores. It was a lopsided championship with a group of 5 and 4, and then some teams going straight to a SF and some to a QF. So going off that;

Cian Johnson averaged 7pts/g (3-40 in 7 games)
Harry Plunkett averaged 7.8pts/g (1-36 in 5 games)
Cian Farrell averaged 7 ...

Re: Club football 2025

Ah fair enough on Cathal Flynn so. I’m glad he’s not been dropped or stepped away. He’s better off getting the surgery and getting sorted. Helps him long term.

Kellaghan is a shame as he had a great championship with Rhode. In fairness he hasn’t gotten much opportunity with Offaly and he probably ...

Re: Club football 2025

Can we address the Cathal Flynn thing. Where has this come from. My god he would be some loss. A genuinely huge loss in the team. The playmaker. He dictated our attacking play last year and would have major implications if he wasn’t involved.

Catastrophic if he’s walked away or was dropped.

Re: Offaly Senior Footballers 2025

Still early days I assume as championship still on. Was Kellaghan dropped?

Nobody else springs to mind as Ru is retired. After that really you are left with the Darby’s, McNamees, Sullivan etc who are all finished with Offaly.

Kellaghan never got his full chance yet, and he had a good year for ...

Well of that Top 16, Cathal Flynn and Aaron Kellaghan are still there. Surely a place there for a few more.

Re: Club football 2025

Link to all scorers for this years championship. Used for my All Things Offaly Instagram page. 98 scorers across all games. Interestingly none of the Top 5 were Offaly panellists by end of championship. CF left and Nigel retired. Johnson, and Plunkett could be on board next year and you never know ...

Re: Offaly Senior Footballers 2025

According to Kevin Corrigan, Ruairi McNamee has called it a day with Offaly. A great servant and has been brilliant throughout. He’ll be missed.
