Re: Offaly Club Hurling Championship 2025

And again, there's a difference between a Thomastown team that has gone completely bananas after winning the first and only senior club title in their history and a Ballyhale side that is top of the national roll of honour for club All-Ireland titles, with four All-Star winners in the team and ...

Looked like that what started the flare up. We Were sitting right in front of where it happened. He'll be a big loss to ballyhale

Drumcullen match against barrow rangers is now switched to the Sunday, same day as k/k match with kilkenny champions which is in nolan park. Looks like that won't be in the county grounds now

Re: Offaly Club Hurling Championship 2025

I’m sure it’ll be dressed up a multitude of ways but 4,000 people is some drop off from the 6,937 that turned up to St Brendan’s Park in 2023.

A 42% (if my maths are correct!) decrease is pretty substantial.

Re: Offaly Club Hurling Championship 2025

Good win for Brosna Gaels over Tullamore in the Junior A final today.
Donal Shirley didn’t play and was named at 34 on the subs.
He came on for Tubber in the football last week so I’m wondering did he re-aggravate his injury or is there something else at play?

Think I read on the football page ...

Re: Offaly Club Hurling Championship 2025

What a day Sunday turned out to be for the club. On sunday morning in banagher the lads put on a great display to win the intermediate championship and return to senior B next year. Then in birr after dinner the girls won the senior B camogie title after a trilling battle with tullamore to cap off a ...

Re: Offaly Club Hurling Championship 2025

Kevin mcDermot fell out with rigney that's why he's not there. Not surprised though. How would any player listen to him roaring at you for an hour. That day is gone

Re: Offaly Senior Hurlers 2025

Think it's a bit unfair to say the waterford player dived last Saturday. James is a solid bit of stuff and gave him a good rattle. It was never a red card. All this shite has started because of Tony Kelly not getting a red earlier in the league. It was highlighted on the telly that night and ...

Re: Offaly Senior Hurlers 2025

Great results in portlaoise today. I think people forget sometimes that these are still young men. I think the mcdonagh and under 20 all-ireland wins last year have given the lads a great confidence boost and belief in themselves. They will make mistakes along the way, but that's part of the ...
