Re: Offaly Hurling 2026
A mountain of seats still available in the Offaly club allocation. About 3 sections worth. They're set to be released back to public sale tomorrow. More likely to be purchased by Cork fans there.

Re: Offaly Hurling 2026
I hemmed and hawed about taking back row in the corner stand tickets, and they were snapped up in a few minutes then. Nothing available on TM at present. Fairly confident of having tickets through the club anyways. Us being outnumbered is inevitable, it's just a case of by what degree.

Re: Offaly Hurling 2026
Clubs are getting tickets to distribute as well, if anyone is set on the stand and doesn't get it via the public sale, there will be a limited amount of stand tickets for every club in the coming days.

Re: Offaly Hurling 2026
Looking forward to it. There was around 8k at the Wexford game. So I'd say we'll bring over 5k but probably not over 10k. Cork won't bring their usual 30-45k as they will be expecting at least 1 and probably 2 more days out. Possibly 20k Cork fans.
Must've been plenty of money placed on Cork today ...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2026
Not the case. Thurles has assigned seating.
Thurles the ideal venue for this. 45 minutes drive from Birr.
God I hope it’s in Croke Park.
In addition to the points I made above about Thurles, doesn’t Thurles also have that issue with unassigned seating?
I remember from the U20 final against ...

Thurles probably. 25-30k at it I'd say if I had to guess.

Re: Offaly Senior Football 2026
a fully fit cian johnson would be a huge asset to offaly going forward. anyone that cant see that mustnt have seen much of him over the last 7/8 years?
Hopefully, but the reality is that he is 27 this year and has played zero minutes of senior inter county championship football in his career. A ...

All Ireland B prelim quarter final: Offaly 4-22 Armagh 3-19 AET. Good to see a strong performance in the secondary competition.

Re: Offaly Senior Football 2026
Unbelievable win. Delighted for players and management. Literally nobody to fear in this competition now. Everyone deserves credit, but Hyland stepping up with the crucial 2 pointers at important times was key. The off the ground free he sliced from the 14 yard line on the terrace side was sublime.

Re: Offaly Senior Football 2026
Actually apologies
Offaly were dominant for a long time.
Westmeath caught up under paidí and then started to win games Vs Offaly.
I know that's a long time ago now.
The gap was not the big between the 2 , in one league game recent years in Mullingar Offaly were dominant up to half time ...

Re: Offaly Senior Football 2026
Westmeath have been operating at a higher level, on average, for the past few years. A few different markers of this - having won the Tailteann Cup, they drew with Tyrone and lost to Armagh by a point in that year's All Ireland Group Stage. They were pretty competitive the following year as well ...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2026
Far from retreating on Cathal Kiely, he didn't feature as much as Killian, Cathal had loads of promise and was in around the panel and came on in some games... for reasons not relevant on here he didn't remain involved, my point was merely asking if both were still involved would they be of ...

Re: Offaly Hurling 2026
Fair enough, yet he carried us game on game (if not tell me where some other player led the charge) in many of the lower tiered games/competitions.. A Year or two out and back again last year, more than likely that pace and drive would not be there now at this level, very unfair to say at ...

Re: Offaly Senior Football 2026
Did Westmeath not get the memo about not having a big enough population to win provincial titles? Surely they should have just thrown in the towel once Ronan O'Toole went to Australia and Luke Loughlin got injured? Sure Leinster is a waste of time for everyone outside of Dublin?
