Sledging is all fine and well but Jaysus, there's levels to it that can't be allowed.
I know a man who played for another county in a Leinster senior football final who married a Church of Ireland woman. Got absolutely dogs abuse about his wife's religion in the senior championship off a ...

Re: Offaly Club Hurling Championship 2025
Mullen was a big loss to Ballyhale yesterday. Clough Ballacolla could have pulled off a win with a bit more composure.

Thanks...I think!
That is as complicated a format as I've ever seen!

Re: U 20 football championship 2025
What is the format for this competition? A player told me there was a B competition if they didn't progress in the A - is that correct?

Re: Offaly Club Hurling Championship 2025
The individual in question has nothing to do with Kilcormac Killoughey, they refuse to give him membership and there is very little else they can do.
I hope the ban from grounds he gets comes from a court of law.
If it is just the GAA/county board then he will show up at club games and cause ...

There's definitely a few Portarlington players who should be playing with Gracefield. Living in Offaly with Laois parents sending them back to Portarlington.
Then again Killeigh have a few young fellas should be playing with Kilcavan!

You're not really down a player (Leon Fox) if he's left your club?

I thought Tyrone would beat Kerry too but it's a bit of a stretch to say they have a jinx on Kerry.
Haven't Kerry won 4 out of the last 5 championship meetings?

Bit of a stretch to describe Ms Nolan as "left wing"?Anonymous1 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2024 9:43 am Nolan will take a chunk of the anti-establishment vote that she would’ve otherwise scooped and she’ll struggle enormously with transfers given there are essentially no other “left wing” candidates in the field.

Re: Offaly Senior Footballers 2024
We'd be better off in Portlaoise. They have a dreadful home record but never too bad in Tullamore.
We should be a good bit better than them.
Pass me some of that good stuff you're smoking.
WTF??? We should be a good bit better than them?
Told ye. They are a terrible team who were ...

Re: Offaly Senior Footballers 2024
If Laois were a bit more clinical/efficient, they'd certainly be a tough proposition.
I'm still convinced we'll have enough for them. Our backs are a good bit better than Leitrim's and our forwards will surely test them a bit more than today's effort.

Still think we'll have the measure of Limerick and Wicklow.
Sligo will be a massive game too.
I expect us to stay up (fully accepting that we should be capable or more than that).

Re: Offaly Senior Hurlers 2023
20 something wides. Something very bad unforced wides included. We were probably slightly the better team but Carlow got the breaks.
