The roll of honour will show the same club appearing in successive years.
If that isn't a 2 in a row, then what is it exactly?

Beat 2 different teams in either final with slight tweaks to the team

Re: Offaly Club Hurling Championship 2025

Perennial problem for belmont is not enough scoring firepower. Effort was really good, but at this altitude , you have to be scoring goals, and at least a couple of forwards have to be popping over 2 or 3 points in the 2nd half of knockout matches, it needs more than just david nallys frees. Oisin ...

Re: Offaly Club Hurling Championship 2025

I would agree with that....would Belmont not be of similar size and seem to have numbers ?
Ryanghs potentially struggling going forward too.

Belmont has the town of Ferbane which has to be a help despite the protestations that there’s no hurling there.

I think about 5 from Ferbane ...

It’s 1967.

Kinnitty have just come up from junior the previous year and are playing Coolderry, the pre-eminent power in Offaly hurling, in the senior hurling final in Birr.

Johnny Flaherty is hardly out of ...

Re: Offaly Senior Football Team - Championship 2022

Did very well with Tipp

Arguably did even better with Limerick, some years prior to that where they should have beaten Kerry in a Munster final

Age is a problem though - at what point do these lads lose their edge and desire.
And no, Cody is not a valid age comparison, he was a 1-county man at the ...

Re: Naomh Ciaran

Brilliant win alright
St Pauls were in the driving seat but they self destructed on an epic limerick 94 scale, they froze for the next 2 kick-outs after the goal went in.
N Chiaran had the guts and character to capitalise

Re: Naomh Ciaran

Only starting going to ladies football this year
I've been a bit shocked with the high standard of the play tbh, pace of the game, disciplined tackling, score taking
Cracking game yesterday, high drama in normal time and Naomh Chiaran surprisingly blew them away in extra time.
Kate Kenny, 1-10 ...
