A positive performance but I feel a key reason for our defeat was our failure to retain possession from our own puckouts in the last 20 minutes. Dublin hit some poor wides but we were unable to take advantage as we were handing possession straight back to them from the resulting puckout.

Apart from the second half against Belmont, I struggle to see what Dan Ravenhill has done to warrant a start for our seniors. Another year maturing with our under 20s would be more beneficial for him in my opinion.

Is there a panic on presenting leinster medals to this year's under 20 hurlers? I find it very disappointing that a dinner dance has been scheduled for Friday night meaning 10-12 hurlers from KK and CRC will be unlikely able to attend.

Robert and Fionn Carney won a Minor A hurling this year with SBK and will play with Cloghan in the Minor A football final this weekend.

There have probably been a few but maybe somebody here might know how many players in Offaly have won a minor A hurling and football championship in the same year?

I see Trevor fletcher has resigned as shinrone manager. That is a pity. I thought he might stay on for one more year.

I think there would be a good few clubs after him now.
