Re: Club Managers 2024
Where are you getting this info. Laughable.
Joe Maher didn’t want to play under Rafferty under the best of my knowledge. But a county standard forward.
Ronan Mcguire was an Offaly u20 and always played senior football every year & was on the 2019 team that beat Rhode in the county final. ….and ...

Re: Offaly Senior Footballers 2025
Don't know many who've had actual interactions with him that do
I think your bias has run its course now at this stage and this is an outrageous comment.
The man puts his heart and soul into the game and has done since he was a young lad playing minor for Offaly.
He ruffles plenty of ...

"By the way, Offaly did play and lose to Galway on Saturday. I've a lot more info on that camp than you seem to think.

Re: Offaly Senior Footballers 2025
Its whats called the silly season I guess.
Lets just call it that we have been hit with injuries, (probably no worse than many other counties), but in your opinion its all Declan Kellys fault, and aint no one changing your mind.

Re: Offaly Senior Footballers 2025
Don't know much about who is in there and who isn't but;
Furlong, Dunican, Keelaghan, Bracken and most likely Keith O'Neill would have happened regardless of who was in charge.
There is an issue though in the time expected from times clubs finish to time that they are back with their counties ...

Re: Offaly Senior Footballers 2025
The division two league is fast becoming a massive ask for our management and players. I feel for DK and MH and id say they will be given some allowance by the county board because offaly missing 5 or 6 starters is a huge dint
Cillian Bourke, patrick Dunican, Cathal flynn, Kyle higgins, aidan ...

Re: Club football 2025
I'll say it again,
There is a lack of quality coaches out there with the expertise that is required by many clubs and certainly that is the case in Offaly.
In my opinion and the view of many, Tullamore had progressed from last year and the influence of Stephen Rochford along with the progression of ...

Worth thinking about in relation to them being able to play internally in the Dublin championship?

Likely to be the case then that we continue to hand over the Leinster Club titles to Dublin teams so.

Re: Club football 2025
"I actually agree with Parkinson's idea that a player should have to play 3 seasons with a club before they're allowed to play in Provincial campaign. Because atleast then the player is obviouslty commited to the club and has served his time. This shouldn't be just for Dublin. This should be for all ...

Re: Club football 2025
I think the truth lies somewhere in between in relation to Tullamore as regards progression.
Someone commented that they would have won the Offaly champioship with just Paul Mc in charge.
No, Rochford has helped adjust their style of play. They have tried to evolve from the ultra defensive style of ...

Re: Offaly Senior Footballers 2025
Take your point and would many forwards in Offaly see themselves as ahead of the Cian's & to a lesser degree Harry?
Probably not but desire linked to work rate is the issue and consistent application.
We are struggling for forwards and of course Spring will tell a lot, but the point I was making ...
