Re: National Hurling League 2017
Can somebody have a go at listing a current 'best Offaly 15' (including only players who are currently playing club or college hurling to a fitness standard approaching that which would be required at the top level and in their correct/best positions)?

Re: Walsh Cup
Thanks Jimbob – that makes sense. It applies to any sport and any bunch of players but I had a vision on Longwell speaking to the squad and the invariable “whaddafukdoesthatladknow” sentiment simmering around the room.

I see Gary Longwell former Ulster professional rugby player is retained as a High Performance coach. He’s the Performance skills coach at the Sports Institute of Northern Ireland who presumably Ryan came in contact with during his time with Antrim.

Re: Offaly v Dublin Leinster under21 final, Weds 6th July
Well done to the players and management tonight for turning up with a winning attitude. It was great to feel a bit of positivity in the ground at half time. There were periods in the game when our lads really got stuck in and hurled for one another which is something we haven't seen for a while in ...

Re: Offaly v Westmeath, Mullingar, Sunday 1st May
I believe it is down to the type of hurling being coached at underage level POTH, but I wouldn't advocate what Forde is coaching Rynagh's although he is a good coach. His type of game has been counter acted in the past by KK under Owens and Coolderry under Kelly. I think both K/K AND C/D have ...

Probably worth asking what the horde of hero’s would propose Kelly, Gleeson, Sheedy (or for that matter … the Rattler Byrne, Louise Morrissey, Shane Long, Dan Breen, Michael Lowry of Effin Eddie Maroney) … do to address each of the following issues (outside of the required drastic and surgical ...

"uncorking the outrage" ... brilliant ..... exactly what happens with the heros here at every 'new' low that is reached.
